Lately school grounds, so to speak, I gave myself to sculpture. What can I say it is certainly not my strong point but the fact that I post on the blog means that I could not do better, then I leave you only imagine the rest ... (XD)
was a lot that do not post anything but I must say that I did not have much to post, the work I'm doing at the moment are purely academic and similar exercises are copies or anything my whole, indeed the only thing I can say this is my model above.
Basically I designed a fountain to put in a plaza that is on the seafront of my city, depicts the myth of Acis and Galatea (I had already done a drawing on her).
is said to be a shepherd Aci herding his sheep near the sea nymph Galatea was a water which had fallen in love madly but not returned the giant Polyphemus (the same as Ulysses and "who you are: No" ... so the usual idiot :-)) cmq as in all the legends associated with mythological characters between Acis and Galatea all'ammore born, and the giant envious jealousy kills the shepherd.
Galatea desperate calls to Jupiter to transform the beloved in the river so that she could ever dive in its waters, of course, Jupiter, and so the content is said to be born on the river Aci almost entirely underground aquifer that flows at various points the coast of Acireale.
I feel a little after Cicero's explanation!
